Gingerbread Hot Cocoa
Makes 4 servings


  • 4 cups milk
  • 5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 24 chips)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Gingerbread Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Biscoff spread (omit for gluten free)
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 4-inch cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
