1-Boil a handful of guava leaves in a quart of water for 20 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
2-Strain the leaves from the water.
3-Massage the guava leaf tea into your scalp and apply to hair, starting at the roots and working through to the ends.
4-Leave on for 2 hours (or more), then rinse.
5-Repeat twice a week.
7. Ginger Oil Hair Mask for Thin Hair
1-Combine ginger and coconut oil (always use extra virgin coconut oil) together until well mixed (If your coconut oil is in a solid state, place the bowl in hot water until it turns to a liquid. Then add ginger juice and stir well.).
2-Massage the mixture into your scalp. Leave the treatment on for 1 hour. You should feel slight warming effect on your scalp. Then wash as usual.
3-Repeat once or twice a week for best results.
8. Witch hazel [for thin plus oily hair]
1-Comb out your hair to get rid of any tangles.
2-Dab witch hazel onto your scalp using a cotton pad.
3-Leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash your hair as you normally would.
4- Repeat 2-3 times per week.
9. Pumpkin Honey and Coconut Oil
1-Combine all ingredients in a small bowl
2-Apply mask to wet hair; leave on for 20-30 minutes
3-Rinse hair thoroughly to reveal silkier strands
4-Repeat twice a week.
10. Lemon Juice [for thin plus oily hair]
1-As a conditioner after washing your hair. Pour the rinse slowly on your head. Massage your scalp and work through your hair. Allow it to soak in for 2-3 minutes, then wash it out. Finish with cold water rinse to seal the cuticles.
2-To freshen up your hair in-between shampoos. If you are one of those people who shampoo as rarely as possible, then lemon juice rinse will come to your rescue. To use, follow the instructions as above, of course minus the shampoo.
3-Use this rinse once or twice a week. Using too often can dry out your hair.
